The Danish New York Times best seller, 2005 hacker of the year, and programmer responsible for open source framework Ruby on Rails and other tech programs I wont pretend to understand has a rather more exciting job on the weekends.

The 35 year old Heinemeier Hansson currently competes in the WEC for Young Driver Aston Martin Racing Team. His No. 95 lovingly referred to as the Dane Train by some in endurance racing circles was the class winner at Le Mans in GTE-AM this past June. David also managed a LMP2 podium in 2013 for Oak Racing as well as earning Rookie of the Year honors in the ALMS in 2012.

Racing is only a fraction of his car hobby, however. In recent years David has commissioned royal blue and black shod cars from two of the most exotic car makers in the world, The Pagani Zonda HH and Koenigsegg Agera HH have been spotted all the way from the Hollywood hills to southern Europe. Leno and Seinfeld need someone to pass the torch to after all.

The Dane Train is the best nickname for a racing team/outfit/car in a long time. I root for that car just because of it.

He actually has more than just the Zonda and the Agera at this point! Just from what can be found on his Instagram, he now has a teal Singer 911, a gold Diablo 6.0 GT, a lime green Aventador roadster, a silver Carrera GT, a red 650S, an Aston DBS, and his daily drivers look to be a 991 Turbo and a Macan Turbo!
